When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. We use that information to receive your inquiry and respond. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in your message.

Contact-form processing

The site uses WordPress and Contact Form 7. Contact messages are configured to be sent by email to the site administrator. Contact Form 7 does not itself keep a database of submitted messages. Messages received in an email inbox may be retained for correspondence and administration.

Technical information

Website hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, and access times to operate and protect the website. WordPress uses cookies for signed-in accounts. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Newsletter signup

If you choose to subscribe to The Weekly Yarn, we use your email address to send Petyarns newsletters about dog and cat stories, everyday ideas, and pet-related features. The signup form requires your agreement before submission. Your email address and subscription details are managed through the Newsletter plugin in our WordPress database.

You can unsubscribe through the link in a newsletter or use our contact page to ask for removal. Sending a contact-form message does not enroll you in the newsletter.
